Job Position Overview

Position: Executive QHRC
Location: Hattar
Department: Qarshi Herb Research Centre (QHRC)

The Executive QHRC will be responsible for managing herbarium collections, conducting plant research, documenting plant species, and supporting gene bank activities. 3. Documentation and Record Keeping

• Assign accession numbers to plant specimens.

• Maintain accurate herbarium and gene bank records.

• Prepare and regularly update the Herbarium Catalogue.

4. Research and Publications

• Write plant profiles and scientific articles for Qaumi Sehat Monthly Magazine and other publications.

• Conduct literature reviews and research on medicinal plants.

5. Quality Control and Identification

• Maintain engraved identification plates for plants.

• Supervise preparation of flowering frames and herbal tea storage.

6. Inventory and Team Support

• Manage inventory for QHRC supplies and materials.

• Provide training and guidance to supervisors and research staff.

Educational Requirements
