The Role:

As an Executive in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) at Berger Paints, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

1. EHS Program Development: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a safe working environment.
2. Site Inspections and Risk Assessments: Conduct routine site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential incidents.
3. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety protocols and practices into daily operations, promoting a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.
4. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and developing strategies to prevent recurrence.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, providing a strong foundation in environmental and safety principles.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs, with a proven track record of ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of safety.
• Proficiency in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, with the ability to develop and implement preventive strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
