This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the management of company tax matters and ensure compliance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Deputy Manager Taxation, you will play a crucial role in managing various tax aspects of our operations, including income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tax Compliance: Actively support in managing company tax matters, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, statements, and other tax-related documents to the relevant authorities.
- Coordination: Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, internal stakeholders, and government authorities on tax-related matters to ensure smooth operations.
- Analysis and Reporting: Perform tax reconciliations, calculations, and assist in the preparation of tax provisions to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Handle tax audits and inquiries, responding to tax authorities’ queries promptly and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Person Specifications
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: CA (Inter/Finalist) qualification.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the textile sector, with a strong understanding of taxation principles and regulations.
