Job Title: Deputy Manager – Electronics

Job Overview:
Are you a skilled Electronics Engineer with a passion for precision and innovation? Utopia is on the lookout for a Deputy Manager of Electronics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of electronic systems and components within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Schedule and conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electronic equipment, plant, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Component Oversight: Oversee the repair and calibration of electronic components and critical equipment, maintaining the highest standards of functionality.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of electronics engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to foster professional growth and project excellence.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, address challenges, and adapt project plans as needed to ensure project success.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and expertise in electronics design, development, and testing.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that electronic products and systems meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
- Proven experience in electronics design, development, and project management.
- Strong knowledge of PLC’s and troubleshooting of plants and machineries.
- Proficiency in electronics design software and electronics instruments, including VFD’s, Flowmeters, pressure transducers, and calibration.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
