Job Description:
As a Costing Executive at Sapphire’s Raiwind facility, you will play a vital role in analyzing production costs for denim fabric. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with various departments to collect and analyze cost data, perform variance analysis, and prepare cost reports for management. You will also assist in monthly closing activities and contribute to the accurate tracking of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods stock reports. Proficiency in ERP Oracle will be an asset in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze denim fabric production costs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Planning and Control Department for order closure and reconciliation.
- Perform production order-wise post-costing and profitability analysis.
- Collect and analyze cost data from relevant departments and conduct variance analysis.
- Calculate lot-wise materials and dyes & chemical post-costing.
- Prepare comprehensive cost reports for management.
- Assist in monthly closing procedures and the preparation of WIP and finished goods stock reports.
- Utilize ERP Oracle for post-costing activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: ACMA (Part)/M.com
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in Denim/Weaving Costing
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
