Qualification & Experience Criteria: The ideal candidate for the Chief Human Resources Officer position should meet the following criteria:
- Education: MBA, MA, or MS in Human Resources.
- Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years in HR management, with a proven track record in HR leadership roles.
- Certification: SHRM (SHRM-SCP) or CIPD certification is preferred.
Key Job Role:
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- HR Strategy Development: Develop and execute the human resource strategy in alignment with the organization’s overall business plan and strategic direction.
- Learning and Development: Ensure the preparation and implementation of a Learning and Development strategy aimed at upskilling the workforce.
- Manpower Forecasting: Forecast long-term manpower requirements and ensure the annual execution of HR planning activities.
- Operational Review: Review and assess existing HR operations, identifying areas for improvement, and guiding team efforts to execute approved plans.
- Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports, managing a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement and value-added deliverables.
- Employee Relations: Work closely with management and employees to provide consultation and guidance to improve work relationships, boost morale, increase productivity, and enhance retention.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Craft fair company policies and implement diversity and inclusion programs to create an inclusive and welcoming work environment.
