Key Responsibilities:
As a Blowing Operator – Sidel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Sidel blow molding machines. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this position:
- Machine Operation: Perform Sidel blowing operations at rated speed, adhering to quality standards and ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on Sidel Blow Machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity, including adjustments, alignments, and settings.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor the production process to maintain efficient and continuous machine operation, promptly addressing any mechanical or technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Material Handling: Ensure proper handling and record-keeping of raw materials related to the blowing operation, facilitating quick changeovers as per production requirements.
- Changeovers and Adjustments: Perform quick changeovers (flavor/package) on the machine as needed, maintaining detailed records of machine settings and production outputs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Documentation: Maintain daily checklists, log books, and detailed records of machine settings, production outputs, and quality control checks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with production supervisors, maintenance staff, and other team members to optimize overall production efficiency and address any operational challenges.
Experience Required:
To excel in this role, candidates should have:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in FMCG production, with specific experience in blow molding operations.
Qualifications:
In addition to relevant experience, the ideal candidate should possess:
- A Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining Sidel blow molding machines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in production operations.
