Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager Procurement (Female)
Position: Assistant Manager Procurement (Female) Location: Islamabad

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Law, Commerce, Business Administration, or related areas.
Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant working experience, with a particular advantage in clearing and forwarding.
Duties & Responsibilities: As the Assistant Manager Procurement, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Managing a high-performing team to ensure productivity and success.
- Handling day-to-day operations with a focus on swift response times to minimize supply disruptions.
- Utilizing strong negotiation skills to implement and manage supply contracts effectively.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings to enhance the company’s profitability.
- Performing data analysis and reporting, tracking category and supplier savings.
- Cultivating relationships with current suppliers and establishing connections with new ones.
- Conveying the company’s needs and expectations to suppliers, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with KPIs, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensuring adherence to established purchasing policies and procedures while continuously seeking improvements.
- Conducting supplier reviews and audits to maintain quality standards.
- Developing and managing a supplier database for ongoing supplier management.
- Collaborating with senior managers on specific initiatives and goals.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven negotiation and sourcing skills.
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a centralized procurement environment.
- Familiarity with centralized procurement systems (SAP SRM/R3 experience is desirable but not essential).
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail with excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software packages.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written).
