We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager Planning. This is an entry-level position that offers a great opportunity for career growth and development in the planning department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Planning Manager in developing and implementing production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, material utilization, and delivery timelines.
- Assist in the preparation of production schedules, ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production planning activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and technological advancements in production planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using planning and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of production planning methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
