Yunus Textile, a reputable textile company, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager Accounts. As an Assistant Manager Accounts, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate financial information to management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing inputs and assisting with financial analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, procurement, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial analysis.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is an advantage but not required.
