📌 Position Overview

Role Title: Assistant Manager Accounts
Location: Bin Qasim, Karachi
Position Type: Full-Time

As the Assistant Manager Accounts, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of fixed assets, including maintaining accurate records of additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation calculations. The role involves reconciliation of fixed asset accounts, coordinating with finance, procurement, and operations teams, and ensuring timely documentation during audits.

🎓 Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education:
  • Part-qualified ACCA, CA, or CMA, or a Master’s degree in Finance (MBA).
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fixed assets management and accounting.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle R12 ERP, specifically the Fixed Assets Module.
  • A strong understanding of IFRS and fixed asset accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills to work with multiple teams.

As the Assistant Manager Accounts, your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets, including tracking additions, disposals, transfers, and performing depreciation calculations.
• Reconciliation of fixed asset accounts with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Periodic physical verification of fixed assets to ensure that records match actual asset locations and conditions.
• Assisting in the preparation of the CAPEX budget and monitoring the budget versus actual spending.
• Coordinating with finance, procurement, and operations teams to manage the lifecycle of fixed assets and ensure smooth operations.
• Supporting audits by providing timely documentation and assisting with audit queries.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements in asset management to enhance efficiency.
