Position: Assistant Key Account Manager

Location: Karachi

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized university.

Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in Key Account Management (LMTs) in the FMCG sector.

Skills Required:

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive business success.
  • Consumer/Customer Focused: Understand and prioritize the needs of consumers and customers to enhance satisfaction.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly and persuasively communicate ideas, strategies, and plans.
  • Strategy/Vision: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for business growth.
  • Customer Negotiation: Negotiate effectively with key accounts to achieve sales and pricing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Objectives: Monitor the achievement of sales objectives with each major account and propose plans for business development activities.
  2. Communication: Ensure accurate and timely briefing of all functions involved in delivering agreed customer support and business development activities.
  3. New Account Identification: Identify potential new accounts and implement penetration plans for business growth.
  4. Support to Key Accounts Managers: Assist Key Accounts Managers in achieving sales and pricing goals, especially during annual negotiations.
  5. Team Development: Ensure the performance and development of the team through ongoing coaching and collaboration.
  6. Business Plans: Develop, prepare, and implement annual business plans for each account in line with overall sales and pricing goals.
