The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project-related financials, ensuring that projects are completed within the defined budget and helping streamline financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Executive Cost Control, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Project Logs Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs to support departmental reporting and management decision-making.
2. Invoice & Payment Tracking: Monitor and track all project-related invoices and payments, ensuring they align with approved budgets.
3. Budget Preparation: Prepare detailed annual and quarterly departmental budgets with head-wise allocations to ensure financial clarity and control.
4. Consumption Reports: Generate detailed consumption reports and flag any overspending or under-utilization of resources.
5. Performance Analysis: Analyze project performance using key metrics such as budget variance, cost-to-completion, and resource efficiency.
6. Reporting: Create clear, professional, and data-driven presentations to communicate project performance and cost control insights to senior management.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, and Procurement departments to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Risk Management: Identify any financial risks or inefficiencies in project execution and escalate them to relevant stakeholders for action.

Skills and Expertise:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and expertise:

• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of budgeting and project financials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred).
• Ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering. A Master’s degree (MBA/ACCA/CMA) is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in cost control, project finance, or financial planning & analysis.
