🕵️♂️ Role Mission
As a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst, you’ll be MCB’s digital detective—tracking threat actors, analyzing attack patterns, and providing actionable intelligence to preempt breaches targeting Pakistan’s largest banking network.
🔍 Core Responsibilities

| Monitor dark web, hacker forums, and threat feeds for banking-sector risks | Profile APTs (Advanced Persistent Threats) targeting financial systems |
| Analyze malware, phishing campaigns, and ransomware tactics | Map threat actors (e.g., Lazarus Group, FIN7) to MCB’s infrastructure |
| Investigate IOCs (Indicators of Compromise) using tools like MISP, Recorded Future | Predict emerging threats (e.g., AI-powered attacks, CBDC exploits) |
| Collaborate with SOC to block real-time attacks | Produce intel reports for executives and SBP regulators |
⚙️ Qualifications & Skills
Education
-
Mandatory: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Intelligence Studies.

Certifications (Preferred): CTIA, GCTI, CEH, or OSCP.
Experience

3–5 years in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or digital forensics (financial sector preferred).

OSINT/DARKINT collection tools (e.g., Maltego, Shodan)

Threat modeling frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model)
