Job Description
As the Manager Project Management (Structures), your responsibilities will include:
- Applying technical knowledge to meet stakeholder expectations and ensure project success.
- Ensuring that all completed structures and buildings meet local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitoring project progress, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Setting design protocols according to relevant codes and standards.
- Providing guidance to civil engineers on best practices in building design and execution.
- Analyzing project goals and performing structural calculations.
- Designing structural elements using computer software and ERP tools.
- Overseeing project management activities, including budget tracking and progress reporting.
- Reviewing construction drawings and providing feedback to contractors.
- Conducting field visits and preparing detailed progress reports.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- MS in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects, with expertise in Primavera P-6, Revit, Excel, and ERP.
- Field experience in structures and buildings.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address on-site issues and ensure project efficiency.
- Familiarity with construction materials, zoning regulations, and building legislation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
