Job Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, setting targets, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. Your role will involve analyzing sales data, monitoring team performance, staying updated on market trends and competitor activities, and reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Compile and analyze sales figures to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor team performance and provide motivation and guidance to ensure targets are met.
- Stay updated with product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Regularly report sales performance and market insights to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification.
- 4-6 years of sales experience, preferably in sector-specific sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
