Position Overview
As a Fashion Designer at Eastgate Industries, you will be responsible for driving the development of new styles and ensuring our products align with current fashion trends and market demands.
Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the retail or textile industry.
- Skills: Good knowledge of colors, fashion trends, and new styles.
Job Scope
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Research and Development: Overseeing the research and development of new styles and designs.
- Design Process Management: Managing the design process from conception through to final styling.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and design inspiration.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines, and create new concepts that align with business strategy.
- Fabric and Trim Selection: Selecting appropriate fabrics and trims for design implementation.
- Sketching and Technical Design: Creating production sketches and collaborating with technical designers to ensure accurate development packages.
