Role Overview:

As the Deputy Manager Accounts, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and implementing effective accounting processes. Working closely with the finance team, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop financial policies, procedures, and controls that enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, or CIMA is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance, with at least [X years] in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
