Job Role Overview:
As a Project Engineer at Fatima Group, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing engineering projects within the fertilizer or petrochemical sector. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the successful execution of projects, from design and planning to implementation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and overcome challenges effectively.
- Design and Engineering: Utilize your expertise in pressure vessel, heat exchanger, and piping design to develop efficient and reliable engineering solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the design process.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for project materials and equipment. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best value and quality for project deliverables.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Implement robust quality assurance and control measures to monitor project performance and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Conduct inspections and audits to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with project activities and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Proactively address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety within the project team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the fertilizer or petrochemical industry, with a focus on project engineering and management.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and techniques. Experience in pressure vessel, heat exchanger, and piping design is highly preferred.
