Job Role Overview:
As Assistant Manager – Budgeting, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and driving strategic decision-making through effective budget planning and analysis. Your responsibilities will span a diverse range of tasks aimed at optimizing financial performance and ensuring organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Preparation and Analysis: Leverage your expertise in financial management to prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align budgetary objectives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Financial Reporting: Generate timely and accurate financial reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making by senior management. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.
- ERP System Management: Utilize your hands-on experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and improve data accuracy and integrity.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and expansion. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: ACCA/ACMA/CA (part qualified) with a strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or management accounting, preferably in the denim/apparel industry.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, budget preparation, and cash flow management. Command over ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is highly desirable.
