Master Group of Industries is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Manager for Internal Audit. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in audit, possess leadership skills, and are ready to take on a challenging role in a well-established organization, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Role Description: As the General Manager Internal Audit, you will be responsible for the following key functions:
- Prepare the group Internal Audit Charter following international standards.
- Develop annual risk-based group audit plans specifying scope, nature, and timing.
- Design internal audit procedures and work plans for group companies.
- Conduct internal audits to assess controls and procedures.
- Provide senior management opinions on internal control adequacy.
- Perform ad-hoc investigations as requested.
- Undertake system audits through technology deployment.
- Identify and propose controls for key organizational risks.
- Discuss findings and report issues to the senior management.
- Prepare group audit reports and present them to the top management.
- Monitor timely implementation of audit report recommendations.
- Develop and control the internal control environment and culture.
- Revise reporting staff KPIs quarterly in coordination with HR.
- Perform quarterly performance evaluations with HR.
- Ensure proper training and development of audit staff.
- Coach, counsel, and mentor reporting staff.
- Conduct final technical interviews for new Audit Department hires.
Experience:
- 12-15 years of experience in Audit, preferably in the Textile/Manufacturing sector.
Qualification:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
