Career Opportunity: Assistant Manager Construction
NLC, the premier multimodal logistics and construction organization of Pakistan, is seeking a dynamic corporate professional to join our team on a contract basis. If you have a background in Civil Engineering and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you!
Position Criteria:
- Location: Gilgit Baltistan
- Qualification: BE/BSc in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 5 years in a relevant field
- Preference: Candidates familiar with NHA (National Highway Authority) procedures will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Client Liaison: Submit check requests to the client for approval of work.
- Site Management: Oversee site management and maintain communication with contractors.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality control and supervise construction works.
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project progress.
- Site Organization: Manage site activities, organization, and supervision.
- Documentation: Initiate and complete all documentary requirements for construction activities. Analyze construction drawings and related documents, reporting observations to the Project Manager.
- Daily Updates: Provide daily updates on progress and schedule of planned activities for the next 24 hours to the Project Manager.
- Client and Consultant Liaison: Maintain close contact with client and consultant staff on-site to ensure project smoothness. Implement necessary safety precautions before commencing construction activities.
- Quality Assurance: Stay informed about all rules, regulations, and specifications related to the work and ensure that the quality of work aligns with design and general specifications.
