Position Overview:
As the Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehousing operations at the Dairy Plant, Bhalwal. You will manage both inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, and ensure that all warehouse functions align with business needs and standards. Your leadership will be key to driving operational excellence in the warehouse and contributing to the success of the sales distribution function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehousing Operations: Supervise daily warehousing operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and the handling of inbound and outbound goods.
- Logistics Management: Ensure the proper storage and distribution of goods, while monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Sales Distribution: Coordinate the smooth flow of sales distribution in alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity and accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve warehouse operations, identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the warehouse, and keep up to date with industry regulations.
Eligibility Criteria:
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Warehousing, Physical Logistics, and Sales Distribution within the FMCG industry.
Education:
- BBA/MBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Engineering, Economics, or any related field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Experience in managing warehousing operations, logistics, and distribution functions.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics operations.
- Ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes.
- Familiarity with FMCG industry standards and best practices.
