Job Description: Engro Corporation is seeking an experienced Treasury Officer to join our Finance team. As a Treasury Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our financial assets and trade-related transactions. If you have a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in treasury, hold a degree in Finance (ACCA or Bachelor’s) from a reputable university, and are ready to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely execution of trade-related transactions.
- Preparation of outstanding Letter of Credits (LCs) report for executives.
- Preparation and submission of foreign remittance documents to banks.
- Negotiate rates for export LC and ensure completion of documents after liaising with the relevant sales team.
- Review export LCs and resolve queries as per defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain the trade register and associated documentation.
- Establish import LCs for raw materials and products.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Minimum ACCA qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Finance from a reputable university.
- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in the treasury field.
- Strong understanding of trade-related transactions and financial instruments.
- Knowledge of LCs and foreign remittance processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
