Alkaram is looking for a talented System Support Engineer to join our team and contribute to the seamless functioning of our IT infrastructure. Position Overview:
As a System Support Engineer at Alkaram, you will play a pivotal role in managing IT support and hardware services for our sub-offices. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of IT hardware, including printers, monitors, time attendance machines, access control machines, scanners, turnstile machines, projectors, and more. Additionally, you will provide support to our internal team, ensuring smooth operations across our network of over 1000+ nodes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Work Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support and hardware services.
- Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and establishing strong working relationships with users and professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT support and hardware services for sub-office locations.
- Service and repair all IT-related hardware, including printers, monitors, time attendance machines, access control machines, scanners, turnstile machines, projectors, etc.
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Offer hardware and software support for over 1000+ nodes across the network.
- Rapidly establish good working relationships with users and other professionals, such as software development teams and hardware and network teams.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose hardware or software faults, and collaborate with network and hardware teams to resolve issues.
- Set up accounts configurations and profiles on systems and address password issues.
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
