Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Executive at Nishat Chunian Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and resources, optimizing procurement processes, and driving operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Import Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end import process, resolving queries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to facilitate smooth import operations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with the site team to identify suitable vendors, initiate contracts, and negotiate terms to meet organizational requirements and objectives.
- Material Procurement: Understand the requirements and significance of procured parts, ensuring timely procurement of quality materials to support production and operational needs.
- Coordination and Liaison: Liaise with finance and import teams to expedite the delivery process, coordinate shipments, and maintain quality standards for procured materials.
Person Specifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A BSc in Engineering or an MBA, providing a strong academic foundation in supply chain management and business administration.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the textile sector, demonstrating proficiency in supply chain operations and logistics management.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate across cross-functional teams.
