The company is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager – Manufacturing Deptt (Production Engineering) to join their team. This role will be pivotal in driving new projects related to passenger vehicles.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing new projects in the manufacturing department. They will lead the project teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables to align with the organization’s goals.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and vendors to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
- Work Breakdown Structure: Establish and maintain a work breakdown structure (WBS) to organize tasks and monitor progress.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in OEM manufacturing, specifically in passenger vehicle production and new projects.
- Education: BS/Masters in Project Management, Industrial, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
- Additional Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
