Job Description:
- Supplier Selection: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, and performance.
- Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and establish new partnerships when required.
- Supply Disruption Management: Ensure an uninterrupted supply of both raw materials and packaging materials, developing contingency plans for disruptions.
- Negotiations: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
- Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Team Management: Manage a team of procurement professionals, offering guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory control measures to minimize waste and improve turnover.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Supply Chain or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry, with 2-3 years in a managerial role.
