In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of web-based applications and systems. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web-based applications and systems, following established coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Write efficient and clean code, adhering to coding standards and documentation guidelines.
- Test and debug web applications to ensure proper functionality and user experience.
- Assist in the integration of web applications with external systems and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end-users or identified during testing.
- Support the implementation of security measures to protect web applications and user data.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies, frameworks, and development tools.
- Assist in optimizing web applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, business analysts, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides as required.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, software engineering, or information technology.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Familiarity with web development tools and environments, such as IDEs, version control systems, and debugging tools.
- Understanding of web services and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP).
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
