Responsibilities:
As an Officer – Payroll in our Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting timesheet data and payroll-related information.
- Calculating wages, salaries, benefits, overtime, deductions, and other compensation components accurately.
- Maintaining precise records of payroll documentation and transactions.
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries and addressing concerns from employees.
- Preparing periodic payroll reports for management review.
- Acquiring all necessary approvals for payroll distribution.
- Handling follow-up for Stop Payment requests and manual check requests.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by top management related to payroll and finance.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CIMA/ICMA, or MBA with a focus on Finance.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in payroll or finance.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and management.
