🧑‍🏭 Position Title: MTS Inspection Manager

This is a leadership role within the Mechanical, Technical & Services (MTS) domain. The Inspection Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and safe operation of all stationary equipment at the plant.

You will oversee a professional team and play a direct role in minimizing risks, preventing equipment failure, and maintaining high safety standards.

🎓 Required Qualification

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:

✔ BE Mechanical Engineering

A strong foundation in mechanical design, material strength, inspection methodologies, failure analysis, and equipment operations is essential.


👨‍🔧 Experience Requirements

Candidates must have:

✔ 10 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in:

  • Inspection engineering

  • Asset integrity management

  • Stationary equipment reliability

The MTS Inspection Manager will:

1. Asset Integrity & Reliability Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans for fixed equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and national regulations governing plant equipment.


2. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead inspection engineers, technicians, and supervisors.

  • Provide training, technical supervision, and mentorship.

3. Inspection & Testing Programs

  • Oversee all NDT activities, including UT, PT, RT, MT, and advanced inspection techniques.

  • Certify that equipment meets operational, safety, and design requirements.

  • Coordinate periodic shutdown inspections and turnaround activities.

  • Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of inspection results.


4. Welding & Materials Engineering Expertise

  • Provide expertise in metallurgy, weld procedures, and materials selection.

  • Approve welding repair procedures and supervise critical weld inspections.

  • Analyze root causes of failures, corrosion, cracking, and mechanical wear.


5. Stationary Equipment Oversight

This includes major mechanical assets such as:

  • Pressure vessels

  • Heat exchangers

  • Boilers

  • Storage tanks

  • Piping networks

  • Reactors

  • Columns and towers

  • Cooling systems

6. Safety & Compliance
