Role Overview

As Manager FSD, you will lead all catering operations across the Sukkur Campus, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and nutritionally balanced food services. This strategic role combines hospitality expertise with healthcare compliance to directly impact patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily food production, menu planning, staffing, and service delivery across all hospital units.

  • Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted service during emergencies.

  • Manage catering functions: sales coordination, event execution, and vendor procurement.

Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce strict hygiene protocols (HACCP) and health/safety standards aligned with hospital policies.

  • Ensure food safety during preparation/cooking and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct audits to mitigate risks and maintain quality control.

Nutrition & Resource Management

  • Collaborate with dietitians to design menus meeting medical nutritional needs.

  • Estimate consumption, optimize inventory, and control food/labor costs.

  • Analyze recipes, assign pricing, and manage budgets for cost efficiency.

Team & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead, schedule, and mentor FSD staff; resolve operational challenges.

  • Monitor compliance with hospital regulations by employees and patrons.

  • Drive customer service initiatives and employee engagement programs.


Qualifications & Competencies

Education

  • Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality, Nutrition, or Business).

  • Preferred: Master’s degree or diplomas in Food Service Management.

Experience

  • 5+ years in food service management, preferably in hospitals/hotels/large-scale catering.

Skills

  • Leadership: Team development, conflict resolution, and change management.

  • Operational Acumen: Menu costing, inventory control, and workflow optimization.

  • Compliance Mastery: Knowledge of health/safety standards (ISO/HACCP).

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical ability to improve service quality under pressure.
