Position: Junior Maintenance Executive – Electrical & Instrumentation
Location: Kasur, Pakistan
Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Maintenance Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems at our facilities. Your key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance Activities: Perform periodic, preventive, corrective, and day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure the efficient functioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Calibration and Adjustment: Check, adjust, and calibrate various control and protection devices, pneumatic valves, actuators, regulators, dampers, and hydraulic systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Compliance and Safety: Understand and implement Lock Out/Tag Out procedures effectively, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards, particularly in a power plant environment.
- Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with the mechanical team to execute electrical and instrumentation-related tasks effectively.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive records of shutdowns on a quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize your expertise to identify and troubleshoot faults in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and field instruments to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Instrumentation/Electronics is essential.
- 12-14 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance roles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership qualities to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to maintain records and communicate effectively.
