Position Details:

• Department: Risk Management Division
• Position Title: Head Market & Liquidity Risk
• Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s from an HEC recognized institution
• Experience: 5 to 7 years
• Application Deadline: March 5th, 2024
• Location: Karachi

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Head Market & Liquidity Risk, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, implementing, and managing Market & Liquidity Risk and Treasury Middle Office functions in accordance with regulatory requirements and the bank’s policies.
• Developing, implementing, and updating Interest Rate Risk Management models as per SBP guidelines.
• Monitoring regulatory and internal limits in alignment with the bank’s approved risk appetite.
• Reviewing LCR, NSFR, and Liquidity Monitoring Tools before submission to ALCO/BRCC and SBP.
• Preparing risk review reports on Market and Liquidity Risk for ALCO/BRCC.
• Managing the funds transfer pricing framework effectively.

Skills Required:

We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Qualifications in Data/Actuarial Sciences and Risk Management are encouraged.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with strong market and financial analytics skills.
• Understanding of treasury products and services.
• Professional Qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or FRM will be an added advantage.
