Meezan Bank, a leading name in Islamic banking, is looking for an Executive Secretary to support its Corporate, Commercial & Investment Banking Group at its Head Office in Karachi. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Executive Calendar:
    Coordinate and organize the Group Executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and ensuring travel arrangements are made as needed.
  • Screen and Direct Calls:
    Take phone calls, messages, and inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, directing them to the appropriate departments for prompt responses.
  • Prepare Communication Material:
    Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and other communication materials required for both internal and external meetings. This may include preparing agenda points, summarizing discussions, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Administrative Support:
    Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of important tasks.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:
    A Bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized institute/university is required.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, directly reporting or assisting senior executives in a professional setting.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong Organizational Skills:
    The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to manage schedules and administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring no conflicts in appointments or deadlines.
  • Communication Proficiency:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior leadership, clients, and external partners.
  • Time Management:
    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to support the executives effectively.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism:
    The role requires the handling of sensitive information and requires a high level of professionalism and discretion.
