About Engro Enfrashare: Engro Enfrashare is looking for dynamic and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) professionals to join our Operations team at our Islamabad office. If you are ready for a new challenge and possess the skills and passion for network monitoring and troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview: As an Executive NOC at Engro Enfrashare, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for routine network monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing support to our telecom and IT operations. If you have a background in Telecom, IT, or Computer Science and a passion for working in a challenging NOC environment, this opportunity is for you.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the Telecom/IT domain, with monitoring experience preferred.
- Routine network monitoring skills (24/7 in shifts).
- Troubleshooting skills with in-depth knowledge and analysis capabilities.
- Preferred: Experience with passive network equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work in shift routines (day/night) and long hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct network monitoring using available tools (RMS/Vendor tools/OMOs extended tools).
- Log network events and escalate them to the concerned teams, following SOPs.
- Compile reports based on logged events and closure feedback provided by field teams.
- Follow up on escalated events until closure.
- Reconcile outages with customers, ensuring agreement on outage duration.
- Execute tasks and assignments based on given time/method, if applicable.
