Key Responsibilities:

As a Design and Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing Firefighting and Fire Alarm Systems: You will design, specify, and estimate the cost for firefighting and fire alarm systems based on client requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
• Preparing System Layouts and Schematics: Develop system drawings and technical documentation for projects.
• Project Estimation: Accurately estimate the materials, equipment, labor, and other costs for projects related to firefighting and fire alarm systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure that the designs meet the requirements and specifications.
• Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local fire safety regulations, standards, and codes.

Requirements:

To be eligible for the Design and Estimation Engineer role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing and estimating firefighting and fire alarm systems.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems, including water-based systems, dry systems, and fire alarm systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Knowledge of international and local fire safety codes and standards.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Strong communication skills in English.
