Position: Civil Planning Engineer
Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is a prerequisite for this role. Your educational background lays the foundation for your technical acumen and understanding of civil engineering principles.
Experience: With 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Your extensive experience equips you to tackle the challenges of project planning and execution with confidence and precision.
Responsibilities: As a Civil Planning Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Detailed scheduling with Material & Resource loading to optimize project efficiency.
- Preparation of comprehensive activity plans for projects on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
- Monitoring and controlling scheduled activities, and preparing progress reports to track project milestones effectively.
- Conducting risk assessment and analysis of schedules to identify potential bottlenecks and mitigate project risks.
- Drafting and organizing client/engineer correspondence, maintaining clear and effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera P6, essential tools for project planning and scheduling.
- Strong letter drafting skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills to convey project plans, progress reports, and findings with clarity and professionalism.
- Competence in document control to ensure accurate and organized documentation throughout the project.
