Position: Associate Cyber Security
Location: Head Office, Karachi
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences is required. This educational background provides the foundation necessary to understand cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience: Up to 01 year of relevant experience in cybersecurity is preferred. While prior experience is advantageous, we welcome fresh graduates who demonstrate a strong passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to learn.
Skills Required:
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and COBIT frameworks (will be a significant plus).
- Proficiency in Security Operation Center (SOC) tools for monitoring and analysis.
- Experience in incident management, including detection, response, and resolution of security incidents.
Job Role:
As an Associate Cyber Security Professional at Com, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and Analysis: Using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor security events and incidents within the organization’s network and systems. Analyzing alerts to identify potential security threats or breaches.
- Incident Response: Responding to security incidents in a timely manner, following predefined procedures and protocols. Investigating security breaches, assessing the damage, and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.
- Threat Intelligence: Staying updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. Utilizing threat intelligence feeds and sources to enhance the organization’s security posture and threat detection capabilities.
