The Assistant Operator (FG-BUFC) is responsible for operating machinery efficiently, maintaining production standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations and achieving production targets.

You’ll work closely with the production team and report to the Assistant Manager – Production, gaining valuable exposure to modern manufacturing practices.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

In this role, your main duties will include:

• Operating machines by following and understanding machine manuals
• Monitoring machinery performance, efficiency, and daily operations
• Contributing to cost and consumption reduction using WCM (World Class Manufacturing) practices
• Improving operational efficiency using Focused Improvement (FI) pillar and SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) techniques
• Supporting waste reduction initiatives under the FI pillar
• Ensuring machines are running optimally and safely

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

To be eligible for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Matric, FSC, FA, or DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering)
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in machine operations within a manufacturing environment
