Role Overview:

As the Assistant Manager Utilities & Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the utilities and facilities management at our manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of essential services such as electricity, water, HVAC systems, and waste management. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining a safe and conducive working environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the operation and maintenance of utilities systems, including electricity, water, and HVAC systems, to ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with external service providers and vendors to procure necessary utilities and services in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to utilities management and waste disposal.
• Oversee the maintenance of facilities, including buildings, infrastructure, and landscaping, to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices to reduce costs and minimize environmental impact.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of utilities and facilities staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in utilities management, facilities management, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of utilities systems and equipment, including boilers, chillers, generators, and water treatment plants.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing utilities and facilities management.
