Are you an experienced professional with a background in procurement, particularly in the retail or textile industry? Eastgate Industries is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Assistant Manager Purchase in Lahore.
Essential Requirements
To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following essential requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the retail or textile industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (B.Com).
- Skills: Proficiency in the purchasing process, strong MS Office skills (especially Excel and Outlook).
Job Scope
As the Assistant Manager Purchase, you will play a crucial role in our procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review and Allocation: Reviewing daily Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and allocating them to relevant purchasers based on priority and availability.
- Monitoring and Follow-Up: Continuously monitoring and following up on pending purchases to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Customer Coordination: Collaborating with internal customers to consolidate demands for common items and optimizing purchasing strategies.
- Cost Optimization: Procuring consolidated items at the best possible rates without compromising on quality and delivery timelines.
- Performance Oversight: Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for purchasers, monitoring performance, and reporting to the Head of Department (HOD).
