The Role:
As Assistant Manager of Product Development & Sampling for Workwear, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product line. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, ensuring that our workwear meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the product development team, guiding them through every stage of the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between design, production, and logistics.
- Oversee sampling processes, ensuring timely execution and adherence to quality standards.
- Drive innovation in workwear design and functionality, staying abreast of industry trends and customer preferences.
- Manage product output timelines, ensuring on-time delivery without compromising on quality.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external suppliers, fostering strong partnerships to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey project requirements and expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the textile or apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of product output in-time, sampling, and logistics management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
