Job Title: Assistant Manager Finance Company: Leopards Courier Location: Karachi
Job Role:
At Leopards Courier, we take pride in being “There for You” at every step of the way. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Assistant Manager Finance to join our team in Karachi. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of financial management, including payable and receivable cycle management, monthly reporting, treasury management, product and service costing, budgeting and forecasting, tax planning, and corporate planning and secretarial compliances. Moreover, you will be expected to demonstrate an expert level of knowledge and application concerning International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing.
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills to tackle complex financial issues.
- Proficiency in presentation skills for effective reporting and communication.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel to analyze and present financial data.
- Experience in finance operations within the courier industry is a plus.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the payable and receivable cycles.
- Generate monthly reports, including segment-wise reporting.
- Oversee treasury management, including Cash on Delivery (COD) reporting.
- Costing of products and services to ensure financial efficiency.
- Develop budgets and forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
- Engage in tax planning, considering federal and provincial tax legislations.
- Ensure corporate planning and compliance with legal requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
