Position Overview:
As an Assistant Manager Cutting, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate cutting operations within our organization. You will be responsible for managing the cutting process and ensuring that it aligns with our quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the cutting department’s daily activities.
- Ensure precise and efficient fabric cutting in accordance with production schedules.
- Manage a team of cutting operators and technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Monitor and control fabric wastage and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement and maintain safety measures and best practices in the cutting department.
- Maintain records and reports related to cutting operations.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a cutting department in the textile industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of cutting machinery and processes is a plus.
