Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in managing accounts and financial operations, particularly in the realm of international trade and textile manufacturing? Utopia is seeking an Assistant Manager in Accounts to join our team at our Utopia Head Office in Karachi.

Location: Utopia Head Office Plot H160 Z63, SITE Phase 2, M-9, Phase 2, Karachi, Sindh 75850

Job Overview:

We are seeking a candidate who possesses hands-on experience in managing accounts and financial operations, with a solid understanding of accounting concepts in the context of international trade and textile manufacturing.


As an Assistant Manager in Accounts at Utopia, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with banks for daily reconciliation and independently resolving transaction-related issues.
  • Recording export advance receipts, loan receipts, bank charges, and tax deductions by the bank.
  • Managing EE Verification and sending it to banks for verification.
  • Monitoring financial instrument numbers in conjunction with export documents.
  • Maintaining export documentation for roll-over credit facility.
  • Ensuring invoices are processed, payments are made on time, and outstanding debts are collected.
  • Managing the fixed asset module, inventory valuation, and costing.
  • Posting bills, verifying them, and ensuring supplier reconciliation.


To be an ideal candidate for this role, you should have:

  • Part-qualified CIMA/CMA or MBA.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role within an export-oriented organization.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
