Accounts Payable Executive-Euro Oil-Lahore

Euro Oil, a leading Oil Marketing Company committed to delivering top-quality products while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards, is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our finance department as an Accounts Payable Executive. This role will be instrumental in optimizing our finance objectives, streamlining accounts payable processes, and ensuring efficient day-to-day and monthly closing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Verify AP invoices for accuracy and completeness, conducting three-way tests to ensure correctness.
• Post AP invoices, AP Down payments, and general ledger entries in ERP (SAP) system.
• Allocate expenses to respective departments for reporting purposes.
• Manage and record petty cash expenses for both head office and sites on a monthly basis.
• Implement and maintain a robust accruals mechanism for overhead expenses.
• Perform supplier reconciliation on a monthly basis and engage with them to resolve any issues.
• Review open Purchase Orders and collaborate with respective departments for invoice generation.
• Review suppliers’ advances and ensure timely adjustments.
• Assist Manager Accounts in the month-end closing process and coordinate with other departments to be an efficient AP business partner.

Requirements:

• ACCA (Applied Skills), B.Com, or similar qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in payables management.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.
