Imtiaz Group (Private) Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations for its facility in Port Qasim, Karachi. This opportunity is suitable for experienced warehouse and supply chain professionals who have strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse systems, team supervision, and logistics operations.

The company is seeking candidates with an MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage daily warehouse activities and ensure that goods are received, stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Supervise receiving, storage, material handling, picking, packing, labeling, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and orders are processed on time.
• Maintain proper handling and storage practices.

2. Inventory and System Management

• Maintain accurate records in ERP, SAP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Manage Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Transfer Notes (MTN), and daily Material Receiving Reports (MRRs).
• Monitor inventory records and investigate discrepancies.

3. Stock Rotation and Inventory Control

• Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to ensure older stock is used or dispatched first.
• Apply FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) to prioritize stock approaching its expiry date.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

4. Team Supervision

• Assign daily tasks to warehouse employees.
• Provide on-the-job training and monitor staff productivity.
• Support warehouse audits and ensure employees follow operating procedures.

5. Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with supply chain and store operations teams.
• Support timely stock replenishment and dispatch.
• Help prevent delays and stock shortages.

6. Operational Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and reduce costs.
• Allocate staff, machinery, and storage space according to daily workloads and seasonal demand.
• Maintain operational standards and support continuous improvement.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• The degree should be from a reputable university.

Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in warehousing or supply chain management.

This is an experienced-level management position, so applicants should be able to demonstrate substantial practical knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
