Key Responsibilities:
As a Planning Executive-MRP, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Fabric and Accessories Planning:
- Plan for fabric and accessories while ensuring adherence to overall lead time requirements.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP):
- Achieve zero stock failures and prevent material leftovers caused by MRP discrepancies.
- Material Verification:
- Verify all material plans before posting to ensure accuracy and timely material usage.
- Leftover Utilization:
- Maximize the utilization of available leftover fabric and accessories to minimize waste.
- Customer Projections:
- Conduct advance planning based on customer projections, ensuring that the plan aligns with the company’s operational capabilities.
- Cross-Department Coordination:
- Collaborate with key departments, such as Merchandising, Procurement, Quality, and Production, to ensure smooth operations and alignment in material utilization.
- Order Adjustments:
- Align material utilization and order adjustments based on updated projections and ongoing demands.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics is required. - Experience:
1-3 years of experience in Planning or related fields with reputable organizations, preferably within the textile or manufacturing sector. - Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges in material planning and usage.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination across departments.
- Proficient in MS 365, ERP systems, and IMS (Inventory Management Systems).
