Role Overview:
As the DM Network/IT Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the company’s network infrastructure and IT systems. Your role will involve maintaining critical systems like VMware, Active Directory, and network components, along with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network & IT Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain Windows Domain Controllers and Additional Domain Controllers (ADC), ensuring high availability and replication health.
- Manage and monitor VMware ESXi hosts and virtual infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of virtualized environments.
- Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and firewalls) along with server issues (Windows Server OS, DHCP, DNS).
- System Maintenance & Backup:
- Perform regular backups and restores using Veeam Backup & Replication to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Administer Active Directory, including user creation, group policy management, and permissions.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide first-line support to users across departments, both remotely and on-site, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client systems, including Windows, printers, and applications.
- Security & Data Protection:
- Ensure data security and system availability, applying IT security best practices to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and maintain system health, backups, and logs to ensure operational efficiency.
- IT Asset Management:
- Assist in IT asset management, procurement, and documentation, ensuring that all resources are well-documented and easily accessible.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or network administration roles.
- Strong working knowledge of VMware ESXi/VSphere, Veeam Backup & Replication, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and basic PowerShell scripting is essential.
- Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage network and server issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and end-users.
- Proficiency in managing firewalls such as Fortinet/MikroTik.
